Hey Geeks

So I was looking on instagram this morning and a hair salon posted a picture of bad hair extension fitting.

They said that the person who fitted them left hair in between, used micro rings and put to much hair in the ring etc...

This has made me panick as I was taught on my training course to leave hair in between rows! But they said that this would cause matting.

What do you geeks to? I am so conscious that I’m going to damage somebody’s hair, I feel confident in my application but if I’m fitting them wrong i would be mortified xxx

I was taught not to leave rows in between when doing the mini locks method ( micro ring ) but I certainly can’t see it doing any harm to the hair if u do. Also I’m not sure if it’s possible to put too much hair in the ring? The way I see it it should be snug and if there is too much hair in then the tip simply won’t fit so I’m not sure about this incorrect fitting without seeing photos and knowing exactly what the problem is. Im sure what you are doing is just fine and if your clients are happy with the results then carry on as you are ! Hope this puts your mind at rest a bit. It could be the client in the post had poor aftercare I wouldn’t worry xx
