Hi there, I'm hoping someone can help me, I'm still quite new to cnd Shellac and unfortunately my lamp has broken and I'm waiting for my replacement. What I need to know is if I could use a standard 36watt uv lamp as long as I explain to clients that their shellac may not last or cure as well just as a temporary alternative until I get my new lamp. Please help!!!

I dont use CND myself but note from convos on here the products work better with the correct company lamps like most others, i'd be pretty dubious about using anything else as u could stand to lose clients, it's all fair and well telling ur clients that there shellac mite not last as long but like i say u stand a chance of losing clients, unless u plan to compensate them for this i.e cutting the price slightly on ur treatments until u get the correct lamp?

In all honesty i'd wait til u get the replacement, dunno if u've got a standard 36w lamp or not, if not then its pointless spending money to get a new lamp if ur replacements on its way? hths x
