Evening everyone!
I have a client tomorrow who finished treatment for cancer a few months ago and has booked in with me for gelish overlays. She is a nail biter and has said that she's always been a biter, I initially thought it might have been from the stresses of the treatment etc. Her actual nails look pretty healthy despite the chemo but they are fairly short. I also noticed today that she has nibbled the skin around one of her thumbs and it looks very red and sore. My question is will it still be ok to do the gelish for her with the sore bit? I imagine it will sting like hell if the cleanser gets in it but and also concerned about the risk of infection. I dint think she has any immunity issues now the chemo has finished, but wondered if there could be increased risk of infection from the open skin?
Thanks everyone X
