Hi everyone,

Really hoping someone can give me some advice on practicing shellac application. I've been out of beauty a few years now and have recently decided I really want to get back into it.

Any advice on practicing shellac? I'm living in a new area so i can't use friends / family. Other than myself any advice on practicing application?

Thankyou

If you don't have family and friends to practice on, I would suggest to first get some insurance and then offer it to public at a reduced price for a limited time only maybe for 6 weeks? Make sure your prices are right and cover your costs including insurance and products but that way, you get the practice you need and possibly repeat clients that may stay when you put your prices up.

That's a great idea! Thankyou! Xx

Like misslelly2020 said get some insurance and reduce your price might be worth advertising on Facebook marketplace and Shpock too as it's based on services/things for sale near to you so you can build a client base that's not reliant on friends family etc. just remember to watermark your pics so nobody steals claim to your work.
