Hi geeks. I have a lady in a couple weeks time we usually bleach her roots up then tone with nxt 8.12 for a silver grey look. She wants a complete change and wants to go copper all over (goldwell 8kg 8k with some 8nn for her grey) best way to pre pig for this am I right in thinking to just do a semi colour all over First of an 8g??? I haven’t pre pigged in years so any advice appreciated

I dont know goldwell, but if she wants to go copper, id add a bit of copper to the pre pig aswell.

How much tone is left in of the silver? If its still dense i would do a cleanse first aswell x

Love red hair, please share pics [emoji4]

Have you got a copy of the colour chart for pre pigging from goldwell? I think it’s 8k from memory, how grey is she and what is the texture like?

It doesn’t state anything on thete about pre pigging which is annoying. I used to pre pig with mousse years ago. That’s why I just thought I’d pte pig with a semi dry it in then apply my target shade. The silver grey is normally mostly out within the 6 weeks I go to do her again. Would you recommend a cleansing shampoo or a light bleach wash

I’ve found this. 8Gb colorance it is then

I may be a little late to this but this may assist for future reference:

Pre-pig: Gold for base req 7-10, Copper for base req 6-4, Red for base 3 or darker.

I pre pigged with goldwell 8gb then went over with desired tone of 8kg and 8k and this was the result x

Ah brilliant! Glad it all turned out well Ayesha :-D I always like to run stuff past others just to confirm I am on the right path too if I am unsure in any way! Pleased it went well x
