Prelightner or colour stripper

I have a client who wants bright blue hair but currently has goldwell 2A on her hair. Would i be best to do a colour stripper before prelightening the hair? or just doing perlightening. Wanting to keep her hair as healthy as possible.

Definitely a colour reducer/ remover first. You can apply those up to 3 times with minimal damage. Then you can still bleach the hair up and re colour.
