How much do people tend to charge for sprays.

Currently working from home so would you suggest pricing to be lower? And do people do offers on spray tans?

Slightly different as I'm in hairdressing, but I just recently went on a colouring course and pricing was a topic of conversation and there were a couple of mobile hairdressers there. When asked about pricing they said they always priced themselves lower than salons... to which the tutor replied 'I don't understand why mobile charge less than salons... if you were have a chef come to your home to cook for you, would you expect to pay less or more than going to their restaurant ?' To which I think we would all agree that you would expect to pay more... I completely agree with her as you have to get there, carry around all of your stock and products, they don't have to find childcare etc etc... x

As I work from home I thought to charge less, but then it's still time, product, equipment & setting up. Again if I were to travel its all of the above plus travel expenses. I think people just expect less when it's mobile or home as I feel some don't see it as a business.

I work from home and charge £20 for a full body using Nouvatan. My clients have exclusive use of my cabin salon during their appointment so i don't reduce my prices.

I do offer tans for £15 if more than one person is having it done x

I have a home beauty room and charge £20 for a full body tan as well. I used to worry people wouldn't expect to pay as much in a home salon but I think if you provide a professional treatment with all the usual consumables and give them an aftercare leaflet, it's only right that they pay the going rate.

I think people feel like mobile doesn't pay rent or employees and so should be cheaper.

Totally agree that mobile should be the same as salon price. I don't know why mobile therapist charge so little because their clients expect that. If you're running a business properly you should be working out costs, overheads, time & then adding your profit to get your charged cost. We are all professionals offering a professional service. I charge £25 for st tropez at salon. If I were doing mobile I'd have travel costs & set up/down time to add too x

That's too true. I charge the €20 €5 for travel as I believe I'm worth it and professional. Some salons especially small ones are more often than not not professional and you really feel like you just gave money away.
