Problems with CND LED lamp vs ELK infa red lamp

Hi - I've had nothing but problems since getting this lamp 6 weeks ago with peoples nails chipping & peeling - I never had complaints before when using my old UV lamp. I am seriously thinking of returning it to sweet squared & wondered if anyone had tired the new ELK infa red lamp & what they thought of it & does it work with shellac?

CND only recommend their lamp for full and proper cure of their products, if you use a different lamp you could potentially be putting your clients at risk of over-exposure and invalidating your insurance. If you've trained with CND you'll know just because it looks cured doesn't mean it is.

What issues are you having with the lamp, is it something we've discussed before so can make suggestions to help?

Hi - thanks for the reply, I don't really want to use another lamp as I want to use this lamp - ive spoken to sweet squared about 3 weeks ago they said check bulbs & finger placement which I have done - im now going to try thinner coats if I can get them thinner & see if this helps as sometimes I feel its not cured & this could be causing the chipping & peeling - just really cant afford to loose clients with it being a new business

I just didn't get on with the CND LED lamp, I had the same issues as you, I returned mine, I don't know what I was doing wrong, it's not rocket science! Never got to the bottom off it!

Ive returned mine they said they are going to test it - so im waiting on an answer
