Hi,

I'm looking at gelish. Is their ph bond similar to CND's Shellac scrubfresh and doesn't require curing, just removes oils from the nail before product application?

Thank you xx

The nail surface cleanse is their equivilant to Scrub Fresh. The bonder is simply a bonder step and not necessary in Shellac protocol.

Thank you. Just so I understand, I would apply gelish like I do Shellac but after cleansing the nail I would use ph bond before product application?

Also what do you think of gelish as a product compared to Shellac and other gel polishes as I'm also looking at jgp.

Thank you xx

I would suggest Gelish specific training, because although application is similar, it is not the exact same. To each his own. Some prefer Gelish, some prefer Shellac.

Yes in my training, I was told to use the bond after bugging etc as the first step but it doesn't need curing. You then use the foundation and cure etc... Shellac don't use a bond.

You will get mixed opinions on both, some people love Shellac, others prefer Gelish. I've just decided to opt for Gelish as most people I know prefer the longevity of Gelish and I'm going with the majority as they'll be my clients
I also waited for the VAT free days at Beauty Express and Nail Harmony in order to purchase my lamp etc.
