Qualification requirements for Nail Techs

Hi, just wondering if any of you out there can help me on this one. The other day a nail tech friend of mine mentioned that from April next year anyone who wants to work in the UK as a nail tech must have an NVQ - is this correct, and if so does that mean that certificates from any of the other courses completed ie creative/star/ezflow etc have no worth????

I'm a bit puzzled and would love any advice on this.

Hi,

I think you'll find that the advice you've been given is incorrect. It would be great to have standards like this in the UK but so far this hasn't happened.

You should probably speak to Rachel Myatt At K-Sa-Ra (known as Chocolate on here) as she'll be able to give you the correct information.
