hey geeks, iam a fully nvq 2 qualified hairdresser, i havent done hair dressing for a while and was wondering if there was any refresher courses on basic cutting as i have forgotten some stuff and lack in some confidence, i am in w.yorkshire so if any classes maybe free i could attend. i dont no what to do really, i really am passionate about hairdressing and want it to be my main job. i dont have a clientele as such e.g. my mum n gran. all help and advice would be very appreicated. x:o
 
Hi look in your local hairdressing suppliers they should have courses and also there's a website with hairdressing tutorials cutting/colouring videos which is quite good you can get a 7day free trail just type in your email and you can start watching it's called my hairdresser.com there another called scissor boy which is good, hth. Xx

Yes. I use myhairdressers.com and its brill. If you subscribe its only around £12 a month and providing you pay by the month, you can cancel anytime.
Also scissorboy is great for a free site. x

Myhairdrerssers.com does have some basic tutorials on color correction.
If you go to the website, you will be able to see all the free pre-view videos which are available. But you will have to pay/subscribe to actually watch them in full. I think it is well worth the money, especially if you are training or going back into hairdressing and need to be refreshed in certain areas. Even if you are a well experienced hairdresser, the site can be invaluable.
