Hi, so I have been spray tanning for over a year & business is very good. A lot of my customers keep asking what else I am going to do & I always planned on doing other courses, but with just having a young baby of 3 months when I did my tanning course & a wedding to save & plan for. I got married 2 weeks ago :D it was having the spare £££££ to do the courses I needed to

With Christmas not to far away I want to do a few other courses to be able to offer some packages but also to be able to do some other stuff

I have decided on Gelish over Shellac. I need to do a basic manicure course. I no nothing to do with nails etc & then was going to do the gelish course

I'm 1/2 tempted to start building my kit up now.

I see on eBay they do a CND starter kit or they do the nail dryers for £50 some cheaper.

Does it matter what lamp you get. Is it better to buy the kit from Sally's/capital?

I see some gelish colours on eBay are these ok to buy or do you think there fakes?

I'm going to the Olympia show on the weekend & wondered if it was worth waiting until them would I get it cheaper or is it more like the 3 for 2 offers you get?

I have never been to a beauty show before so have no idea what to expect

Avoid eBay lamps & products like the plague! They are quite likely to be fake products, with bog standard lamps. Save a little more and buy from sweet squared and nail harmony, where you know the products are genuine. Lots of threads on here re: fake products etc. good luck xx

Thanks PL do you think the beauty show will sell them any cheaper than the companies you suggested if you have been to a beauty show before

Companies will offer package deals at the shows or vat free, either way there's good deals to be had.
I offer shellac and gelish.
If it was me I would buy a cnd lamp as this can be used for gelish also, but the gelish lamp cant be used for shellac. You may not want to offer shellac at the moment, but you never know in the future x
