Good luck to you...I've never found one yet!..
A couple of years ago, when I worked from home, I was so conscious of the sound of my hair dryer disturbing my neighbour, that I spent silly money on a 'silent' motor.
SILENT !!!!!...not....
Let me know if you find one, most days I have to run on 'low' just to hear my clients conversation!

I have an Ego hairdryer, now these are good, a bit different, but i can reassure you though one of the selling points to me was that it is quieter than other hairdryers, and it is, you can have this on in salon and still have a conversation with the client.

Fabulous dryer, and there straightners are good too.
Powerful dryer as well .

Please tell me more about the Ego. I need a new dryer as well. Well more like I have an obsession with dryers.

How is Ego on clients with lightened and toned hair? Those high maintenance ones who are basically lightened/bleached blonde.

I've resorted going back to my Valera. Even though GHD and Babyliss Volare dried faster, didn't leave the hair in as good condition as Valera ionic. I know lots love GHD and I think it is great for some, but I found it highly overrated and way too hot. I'll either throw it out or give it away that's how much I loathe it.

I was wondering about Parlux ionic, but now I'm interested in Ego.

Sorry to interrupt your thread! I guess I could have started a new one, but didn't want to crowd it up with dryer questions.

They are amazing, i was told a normal hair dryer just uses hot hair to blow of water of the hair in order to make it dry.
This dryer uses the water to put it back into the hair, hence moisture being put back into the hair, leaving you smooth results and no need for straightners afterwards .
I hope this link will work for you .

May I suggest Karmin Salon Series Ultralight Professional Ionic Hair Dryer - I read all about it on http://www.karminhairtools.com/karmin-salon-series-ultralight-professional-ionic-hair-dryer.html, found that they sell them in the UK and searched their Where to Buy page and picked the one with the most competitive price but apparently you can buy direct from Karmin as a professional! I like the fact that it has cut my hairdrying time by 15mins, it is lightweight (approx 12ozs), low sound etc., etc., and to top it all it has a 3 year manufacturer's warranty! Hope this helps you.

Funny that all your posts are promoting either this or a haircare range, all pointing people in the direction of buying products from websites?

The above post looks like a sales pitch not a consumer opinion!

The new GHD Aura is quite abit quieter than others not silent tho!
