so after completeing the bio sculpture gel nail course ive found that every time i do a set im reacting to it causing my fingers to itch blister and shed the skin ( sorry in advance for the gross details but its so painful ) ,ive tried barrier cream and nytrille gloves and still react, i dont want this to stop me as i want to persue it as a new career, so suppose im asking peoples advice on what gel brand to try next ?

Tbh and this is only my opinion when i have new clients they never tell the truth about there previous beautician or the treatments. The other nsil tech has probably explained everything beforehand and the clients haven't listened because im sure if they have had gel polish in the pasted and it hasn't lasted thats why she/he has done this treatment. Not everyone can ware gel polish and get it to last 3 weeks plus as they might have oily nail beds.

[emoji15]tracey I think you posted a reply to the wrong thread [emoji38][emoji38][emoji38].

Tanya I have had a reaction to the calguard from Calgel after 10 years of using it and it's over exposure and i just changed the methods and used a different product to remove the sticky layer. You might find it is that product and not the gel itself which is causing irritation.

Try figure out what product is creating this for yourself. Then eliminate it.

For future product or nail systems , always always go to have your nails or a treatment done using the product that you wish to stock in your salon or train with BEFORE having the training.
So many therapists have done training in products which they themselves have never actually had a treatment with, and you might have to try a whole range of items before you find one range you like or don't react with.
I would suggest going this route first ,
Also contact Iz Hammond they make IZ gel and have far as I know tester kits or size of them you can try first.
I find them very helpful as a company , they stock Calgel and Iz gels.
