hey peeps i was wondering if any of you lovely extensioner could reccomend any prebonded hair extensions to me, at the moment i use the the balmain ones, i do love them but they are expensive and the price is putting clients off, where i live we are only now getting into extension do you think it would be worth doing an introduction offer or trying to find a cheap brand but hopefully a good brand too.....lol not asking much am i  any advice you could give me or information would be much appreciated ... <3

Hi,
if its cheap youre looking for,loo at lush us uk, nice hair, cheap prices, ive never had a problem with it,
I make my own pre-bonded if the client wants pre-bonded, otherwise i use fusion, like to be able to size the bonds as i go,
take a look n see what you think, they also sell the melting pots etc, for you to make your won pre-bonds,

thanks kate, is it easy to make your own? do you make them from wefts of hair? the lush us hair is very cheap i see but what does it last like im guessing it tangles up easily am i right? thanks again x

Hi,
no, it doesnt, ive never had a bad packet from them anyway.

put it this way, i have 1 client who i bought the hair from lush us for, n pre-bonded it for micro-rings, n shes had the hair in since may!!

only realised she has had it in so long whilst checking back through my records, and the hairs still in great condition, and its been dyed a few times with semis!

its very easy to make your own, i use my glue gun, but you can use a melting pot, suppose theres less wastage with a pot, but i just prefer my gun, as i love it! : )

Lush Us hair is a far better quality hair than its price suggests. The ladies who own the company took a decision to keep the price low and gain more orders rather than pricing as high as the quality justifies but have less orders.
I have used it for 5 years and it is beautiful and as Endless says, can be used in more than one fitting. The ones I have in now have been fitted twice and don't seem a bit different to when they were new.

Try them for yourself. Only way to know really :)

I bought hair from lush us once and found the pre-bonds on the hair to be really thick. i bought the 0.8g with the 5mm micro rings and found it was pushing the silicone lining out whilst appling? any suggestions xx

Ive not actually tried lush us for stick tip, were they all the same? I know sometimes you get some thick ones in a batch, which i usually just melt and re roll..although it kind of defeats the object of buying pre bonded.

If you contact lush us and maybe ask them the ring size they recommend?

I personally dont use micro rings much, I find copper tubes much better, they lay flatter and are easier to work with.

Does the bond hold up in the stick tip? As sometimes I find that the silicone has somewhat broken down at maintenance, so end up having to retip a few so I can re thread ( this is with micro rings not copper tubes)

I use Balmain, bt also wanted offer clients a cheaper option. I recently applied Lush us micro rings to my friend's hair, blonde included, did have a problem with some of the bonds being to thick for the rings but only about 5 out of 90. I can tell the difference in quality of the hair, but its minimal, just need to see how long the hair will last, Lush us have said the client can get 6 months out of their hair if properly maintained. My friend had Racoons in before and she is really happy with the Lush us hair, and I know she will look after it. Siansy ( a fellow geek) is fitting Celebrity Elite in my hair next week, which she highly recommends. :)

hey fuzion, thanks for replying keep me posted on how the lush us hair holds up im, not using the micro ring method i just use pre bonded nail tip, have had some samples of them and they feel fab but going to put a few in my hair and see what there like after a wash or two, im looking into top model by sleek too, had the rep in the other day and again they have a vast variety of hair so going to give thema go too xx

Hiya,

Carried out maintennance on my friend's Lush us extensions today and the hair felt great, the colour had faded slightly on no.6, but the blonde 60 and no. 8 were perfect. I've been told to stay away from their blondes as they matt, hers was as fresh as the day they were fitted. She's still extremely happy, whcih is the main thing. Interesed to see how you get on with Top Model!!
