Sored you can, just don't need the higher strength peroxide sr-rc would be good with 6% :) or just sr-c depending what u want, u can add these into other colours

ohh i was sure that they were just for dark colours, i was scared they jus faded out to fast on her hair. . what vol cud i get off with using with it, with wella reds i know if hair is fairer using 4% lasts longer 6%. and u can mix so-red with other colours? i assume you just mean with the matrix colours? x

Well I've always used then with matrix just for insurance reasons if anything went tits up. they say try 6% as your lowest as it's got to activate the colour, I used it once 5 years ago with 3% when they still had the matrix kixs it wudnt take :( and yes even if you want a bit more of a copper look in a red copper colour, or a more velvet in a mocha they are great to mix in a little bit off. Normally quarter of a tube to a full tube is about enough maybe slightly less. Less us know how you get on :)

im not at all familar with matrix other than the sored cos i do love it jus never used it on hair above a base 6 cos i thought it wud just fade out. . .i am actually a tigi colour user but i jus always liked wella reds so kept them and love sored by matrix, its nice to have a few different ranges so u can pick the best of everything, im jus wanting this colour to be immaculate cos its a good friend and its for her 30th haha x

hey blue-rinse. . . was jus to let you know what i ended up doing. I used tigi intese red 66/66 with 2inch of 0/22 violet tone as my first colour in one foil, it was like ruby red :) and also to compliment her natural hair colour i did foils with tigi 7/44 and 7/7 which is like a rustic bronze. . . turned out absolutly stunning :) x
thanks for all your advice though x

Awesome I'm glad it worked out for you :) I know you were stressing cause it was for a special occasion? Defo do have a play with so red range though it's pretty cool what you can create! I love it with chocolate browns and mocha's to make it look more velvety ;)
