Referral, restricted or prevent treatment

Hi doing a nail technician course. Can anyone help please. Do painful joints need medical referral. Restrict or prevent treatment.
Would say it only restricts cans you do massage in manicures?

Not really but it depends on the condition I have some clients with arthritis in the fingers but they like coming for a manicure. You just must be gentle and not too rough, they also enjoy a hand massage and nice warm mask treatment.
However wrist or bones or tendon issues or a skin condition I would think you need a medical note.
