Hi all. Last week I asked on here for advice on therapists in Surrey who offer male intimate waxing as my usual therapist was having to undergo surgery. Since then, I have had a look at some of the related messages on here, and i didn't realise it was such a big thing (I am not in the beauty industry). It has started a fascination as to why any of us chose to remove our hair down there. For me, I very quickly had a desire to remove it and started shaving at the age of sixteen. I grappled with the fact that I may be a bit strange for doing so, but in a funny way it was my little thing, my secret, that made me unique and I got a sense of freedom from removing the hair. Baring in mind that is 14 years ago now and the same feelings have stayed with me. It has never applied to any other part of my body. I have now moved on to waxing and as I say, I had no idea just how big business this seems to have become. For me, it is very much something I do out of a sense that it is something I 'need' to do, but do we think that the shift in popularity is more born out of 'fashion'. I am interested in hearing others views on this matter if anyone would like to share them. Many thanks, Andrew
