Hi

Just wonder if anyone can help me I have bleached my clients hair 2X now and it is still a orangey colour, we want a really cool blonde balayage but it’s jist taking forever anybody know the fastest way to lift hair and a ash toner to remove the brass any advice will help

Thanks in advance x

Ok so I bleached my clients hair 2X using schwarzkopf up to 7 bleach with 9% she was currently a level 4 box dye ☹️ Managed to lift it to about a 6 by bleaching the ends two times and I left her root colour as she wanted it dark, but now after bleaching it I’ve toned it with ash XP100 it looked lovely but it’s been a few months since we last did it and it’s just gone a copper gingery colour she has booked in again to have it lifted and toned again but anybody know faster ways to remove stubborn box dye and a really nice ashy toner( not worried about brand) it’s so hard when clients expect to be ashy blonde in a few sittings it takes time

If it had been me, I'd have opted for a colour reducer rather than bleach & 9% originally, as it's not going to cause further damage. Do you have any experience using them? It takes more time and costs the client more money initially but it's so much better for the hair.
I usually point out to the clients that it doesn't work out cheaper in the longer term for the client to endure strong bleaching sessions over several visits and they can get a good result in one day and maintain good hair health.

This time around, I'd do a strand test with bleach first of all to check the integrity as it's likely to be quite damaged and porous from all the previous colouring and bleaching. Also, use a semi or demi with very low vol developer rather than a permanent to re-colour it.
