Removing colour stains

When i was training (many moons ago) after colouring a full head with 1/0 one of the stylists used to rub cigarette ash onto the skin then wipe off with conditioner....believe it or not it worked a treat!!!!
So anyone else know any other 'strange' things used to remove colour stains?

many moons ago perm lotion on cotton wool...........

I use dermalogica scaling fluid. In the olden days, I used to use milk and *** ash mixed.
Baby wipes also work.

Shampoo on cotton wool.

Hairspray if the colour is on your clothes or carpet.

Apparently malt vinegar works too.
