Currently what I’m dealing with . Used a ion red dye . The ends are turning a greenish brown and midshaft is a very strawberry red that isn’t fading . Any advice please? . This picture is after bleaching once . I really don’t want to cut off that hair if I bleach again . It still feels very healthy .

If it was a direct dye, you shouldn’t have used bleach as that causes the colour molecules to stain the cuticle layer and then it can only be removed by cutting it off or colouring over it with a darker tint.

What's the goal? Ion stains so much [emoji24] I used to use the red and it was so good until I wanted to get it out lol

After she was done with the red ombré she dyed it brown then black because the red is still there . Is there anyway I can remove it ?

I used to use it too back in high school days lol I just kept putting another color over it lol her goal is to have a Sunkist balayage or ombré I told her it is definitely going to take a while because the red is still there
