Hi I have just booked to have Remy Indian hair extensions. I am a beauty therapist myself so I don't know much about hair extensions. Can anyone give me tips on how to care for them once they are in? X

Major tip.... If the person fitting them doesn't give you thorough aftercare instructions and answer all your questions don't let them fit your hair.

Thanks for the advice. I'm sure she will. I haven't been to her for the colour match yet so I'm sure she will do it then. X

Another major tip.. Buy the aftercare set (if she sells them) usually has shampoo, conditioner, extension brush & some sort of protein spray(hair extensions need this!) you have to think of them as 'dead hair' as they get no nutrients from the body whatsoever so you need to look after them carefully to make sure they last :) regular comditioning treatments on the mid lengths to ends keeps them soft and regular trims keeps them looking good :) hope this has helped x
