I know that there have been a fair few threads about taking off gel - but I can't find the answer specific to my question. When working with a non soakable gel (NSI Balance for example) what do you do if a client wants an old set taking off, and a new set on, bearing in mind the general advice is to buff off to a fine layer, and leave the rest to grow out...do you have to get ALL the gel clean off the nail before applying a new set? And if so, is this the case with Brisa??

Hi babe,
You file off the most of the gel coating and then you can soak off the remaining thin layer of coating in acetone.............
I know this works with Brisa but can't speak for NSI Gel......
