this may be a stupid question but I’ve seen a lot of videos where baby lights are done then shampooed and a root shadow is then Applied to wet hair , would this be a specific product for wet hair or just a normal colour ?

It’s a Demi permanent I believe xx

I use Affinage Infiniti with converter for my root shadows, developing for 20 mins.

What do you use if there is grey hair xx

Guy tangs colour line has a product called dark shadows which is made for shadow roots, keep in mind, it is blue based, so it must either be used in naturally cool hair or prelightened hair, not on gold or yellow bases. In spring, they are supposed to release he rest of the tints including natural, so you could then mix the natural ice with the dark shadows. Although dark shadows is permement colour, it can be used with the guy tang 6 volume

For the most part though, you only really do a shadow root in prelightened hair, like when blending stitch marks away from highlights
