Root smudge, why doesn't it go khaki?

ive just come back into the games after having kids and I'm curious as to why when people root smudge blonde hair..especially with ash . why don't it go green as no one pre pigs it ?

It won’t always go green- remember it’s usually the porous ends on a colour correction that will go green not a healthy regrowth. People are naturally cool toned usually so it works well
