Ok so I was wondering what the best way is to go about refreshing faded colour after having done the regrowth. Last time I was using 6% and 6/45 (permanent colour) on the roots then afterwards watered down the remaining colour and took it through and let it develop for 35 min with the rest of the colours.

But a friend suggested I should have used a demi instead for the mids and ends? (ie 6/45 and 3% in demi)

How would you guys go about it?

Wen we do this in the salon a wrk at and everywere else i have wrked at we do root touch up leeve for 20 mins then comb throught 2 the ends applying more colour...and leeve it for another 15 mins...especially using reds as they lift up so quick...a cliend dnt want 2 have 2 come back every few week jyst cos there colour has faded...it also leeves the hair looking glossy and shiny again...

With any other colour tho u could just carry on in wat you are doing as that way the the client wont get a colour build up as much on there hair and would be easier to change in the future....

Or you could just use semis...full stop...we use wella koleston and this is wat we got told on a training course wid wella

Hope this helps
