So I know this may sound retarded so I'm apologizing before hand, lol. I have never been to the beach and we are going to Florida on the 6th. I'm worried about how the beach will effect my hair. It's very long and not bleached but it does have a high lift color on it.. I use Redken shampoo and conditioner but sometimes it it gets very tangly. The reason I'm conceded is because I once bought a sea salt spray for an ear piercing and accidentally got it in my hair a bit.. My hair felt totally disgusting. Should I bring some leave in conditioner or something?

Yes just smoother it in a thick conditioner :) and plait it so it won't tangle x

Totally agree with the above comment. I used to find that the big tub of henna wax was ideal for nourishing when i got out of sea/pool and its really good value (if they still make it-lol). I haven't used it for a couple of years holidays and my hair has been more work than it used to be.

You could also try a clarifying shampoo like shampoo 2 in Paul Mitchell great for holidays as it takes impurities out of the hair and didn't strip colour. Then use normal redken shampoo and then mask :) They also do shampoo three which is another good one for holidays but not if you have colour on your hair :)

Loreal do a brilliant range 4 holidays called solar subline. There is a shampoo, a mask & a spray which is pretty much a sun block 4 hair. They protect against sun & salt water, would defo recommend x
