Hi Geeks
Do any of you use Laurens Way? Ive just received aome samples and tried out the darkest one they sent me (16%) last night. Im olive skinned (dads side is italian) so can usually get away with it! I normally use suntana and love it but even their after dark solution (14%) could do with being a bit darker for me. So last night it went on and was dark but i liked it. Ive woke up this morning and oh dear its has a very orange tinge! I like suntana because however much i spray on me (usually 2-3 coats of after dark) i may be dark but never orange! Just wondering if you found this tan to be a bit unnatural looking to say the least lol. Of course im going to also sample the lighter ones before i make my judgement on it but just like to know whatbyou guys think? Also the tan didnt smell of fake tan too much last night but this morn i stink of it x

I had a bath and to be honest its not as bad as i first thought i was panicking. Its just the right colour but the 3 main cons to me not investing in it are 1. It absolutely stinks of fake tan my hubby could smell it on me walking through the door! 2. It has an orange tinge to it not natural at all and 3, ive never had a spray tan that comes off on the bed sheets as much as this. It will still be suntana for me

I think you also need to remember that these type of celebs are literally getting to paid to add their name to something... I don't know much about tanning as I like the sun, but when every celeb is doing it... it reeks more of marketing than a good product - HTH's!

Couldnt agree more xx

I've tried Lauren's way hated it, it was orange an I stunk!! Had a rep out to my shop very pushy tried samples didn't buy again

Our salon tried it and it was too orange! Faded mega patchy, everythin that waa bad, was bad lol

Suntana all the way :-D xxx

Hiya! I've tried Lauren's way & really like it, I was a bit wary at first about trying a celeb tan, but I can honestly say that this is the nicest colour spray tan I have used. & an added bonus is that it lasts ages. Not a hint of orange at all.

Hi,we use full range of LW tan in our salon and is fantastic, no patchy fade at all and no tan smell other than Suntana best tan ever!

I used it once on my sister to test and I found it quite orange to be honest, but I am used to sienna ;-) x

I now stock a small amount of LW after having great feed back after trialling it on my guinea pigs. I find it goes on well, nice colour with no orange and nice smell. Maybe you found it orange as you were using higher % for skin tone or using too much solution.

Definately not too much solution but the % may have been too high for me. Ive had it on : days now and it is now looking a nice colour rather than orange like it did first few days. Ive had baths rather than showers every day and my suntana prob would have started fading a lot on me by now.

I think sometimes it comes down to personal preference too. I was pleasantly surprised with LW and found wear off good. I wouldn't stock it as my main brand though as still prefer LA & Nouvatan for various reasons. I trialled Suntana and loved everything about it apart from fade off. My guinea pigs didn't rate fade off and all preferred other solutions. Shame as we all had high hopes for it, their customer service is fab and tan smells gorgeous :(

Do you know why they didntnlike the fade iff? My clients love it as as oon as it starts looking a bit patchy its so easy to get it all off. The only bad thing ive heard about te fade off is it xan come off a bit too quickly

I think it was a combination of factors really. It started to fade quicker then my regular solutions and they weren't as keen on the colour. It certainly wasn't the worst tan, I personally really liked it. It just didn't stand up to my other solutions. Shame as I did a chocolate & coconut mix on myself and thought I was in heaven lol!
