Ok so I have a client who decided they wanted pastel pink hair. Last week I did a huge colour correction where we removed most of the previous dye, lifted to around a level 8 on mid lengths. I used a high lift to do her roots as we settled on going a darker pink for the first go to cover the parts that hadn’t lifted so well.
We have her booked in for just before pride in London where we’re going to lift up a second time, tone to white and then put the lighter pink on. This time I know that a high lift won’t cut the biscuit (her hair naturally sits around a cool level 6) as we want it that much lighter.
I used BlondMe on her hair zone 2 and lower this time but I know this isn’t at all suitable for use on the scalp.
What does everyone recommend in the way of a gentle but efficient scalp bleach? And what developers? Obviously I want to maintain as much condition as possible!
