Thank u for all of your kind words.
I'm 2 days post recovery & today I'm feeling much better, much better than yesterday anyway. Still sore as.to be.expected, but moving about more today.
My left fallopian tube was removed & ovarys were freed as they were stuck to my abdomen by adhesions, I had a bleed on my ovary which was cauterized & my surgeon also found I had fitz Hugh- Curtis syndrome (scarring on my liver) a rare disorder caused by previous pelvic inflammatory disease. It's all stemmed from an op I had on my abdomen 5 years ago, the scar tissue inside was horrific, on my surgery report he noted that he had to first off all cut through lots of tissues to see were he was going.
When I woke up surgeon came to see me & said my op had been satisfactory, I don't think that means the best but average, either way its done with now.
Not sure what there going to do about the liver thing as he's a gynecologist so may refer to liver specialist. My liver is ok though & functions perfectly well as I had recently had blood tests & a liver scan done prior to ivf, so maybe ill have to have another op in future to clear scarring, I don't know at this stage.
So relieved its over now though
Now on with my ivf Xx
