Hey Everyone :)
I'm wanting to learn how to do sculptured nails and I'm not sure which to pick or to just do both? One of my friends does nails and she said that gel doesn't last? What do use think?

Bio Sculpture Gel is the best In My Opinion... You can soak it off, sculpture extentions with it & it is the ONLY gel on the market with a 5 Star Safety Rating. It doesnt chip, crack or damage the clients nails etc & is available in over 150+ colours... Training doesnt come cheap but it is one of the best if not the BEST ;P

then she hasn't been properly trained in gel. Gel or Acrylic will give you and your clients beautiful nails as long as you are properly trained and applied correctly.

In my opinion I love CND. You can do the Master Sculptor class and learn to do L&P and Brisa Gel. Then be able to offer your clients both and determine what will suit their nails and lifestyle best. CND products and education are one of the best in the industry :)

If someone could only afford one, which would you do? Being an ex-biter i have never felt gel is strong enough. So I am tempted to offer acrylic & shellac? What are your thoughts? I did read on here that if there is a lot of people doing gel in your area then there must be a big market for it however to me that also shows that there might not be as big a demand for it? My current acrylic nail tech always seens busy but I am also conscious that people do think acrylic isn't as good for their nails..

you just weren't given the right kind of gel for your nail type or lifestyle. Harder gels, like a buff off, should give you the same strength as l&p. Softer gels, like soak off, aren't always the best choice for a nail biter.

that being said. if your area has lots of gel techs and only 1 or so l&p who are busy....and can only afford to do one class....I would go for l&p. Tap into a market that isn't as saturated with techs. jmo :)

it will just be up to you to educate your clients that it's not the products that harm their nails, it's techs that aren't properly trained, that do the damage
