Hi everyone, I'm starting up as a mobile spray tanner and when searching for public liability insurance, I'm not sure whether I am self employed or a sole trader. They seem very similar but I think as there is only me, I will be a sole trader? I would be grateful if anyone could advise me on this, thanks.x

Any time you work for yourself you're 'self-employed'.

Being a sole trader comes under being self-employed and is someone who's business is not registered as a Limited Company (regardless of if or how many people work for you).

Any other questions, please ask!

Lucy
