Hi hair geeks I've popped over from beauty to ask for some advice.
I have natural light ginger hair that I haven't dyed for over a decade. I'm booked in with a hairdresser next week to go copper, I'm not sure if I should take the plunge and have permanent or go for semi? How long will semi last? I'm just worried about committing to permanent and it not turning out right, will I get the same colour results from both?
Thanks in advance x

1970?? That's weird lol
I'm having it done at a local salon, it has a good rep, people are lovely just wanted advise on semi or perm as the colour I have chosen is much darker than my natural colour.

I'll ask admin to check as the date is showing correctly on my iPad.

OP, I only asked (cos I'm nosey) and I used to live in Bristol so know a few good salons/ colourists.

If you go for a semi, it will wash out after a few washes and so you can just try it to see if the colour suits you.

Thanks I'm going to cherrie vickers in bishop worth. I think if it will only last a few washes I will go for the perm and hope I like it!

Is your hair coloured?

Permanent and semi probably don't meant what you think they do- I would just take the advice from the stylist. Permanent might have to be used to get the result you want.

No I've not dyed it for over 10 years. Thanks in going in today for a patch test so will ask her what she suggests. :)
