Semi permanent dye - stain my hair?

Hi guys,

Just got a quick question. First of all I am a beautician and NOT a hair professional.

My friend is a model with naturally light brown/dark blonde hair. They want to use a semi permanent medium brown on her hair. Will this stain her hair? They want to use a l'orreal box colour which sad 24 washes on the box.

Should I advise her not to have it done as it may stain?

I very much doubt it'll wash out in the stated washes, box colours never do! They are quite strong :s I'm a hairdresser and wouldn't recommend it if she doesn't want to change the colour x

We thought it was a bit odd that they are using a box colour in the first place.

Thanks, I will tell her not to do it as she doesn't want to have her hair stained.

Its not a semi permanent its a quasi, which is half permanent half semi. So it definitively will stain her hair. True semi permanents only last 6-8 washes usually.
