Can anyone advise...I have a client who has previously bleached hair but is not getting on well with it, it seems to be irritating her scalp too much, so we have decided to tone her down and gradually go darker. I used a light brown semi permanent as a pre pig first before I use a darker brown semi and it’s gone quite pink in some areas. Only want to use semi on top as the client doesn’t like permanent colour (I know it’s not going to hold all that well but the client doesn’t want permanent at all) Any recommendations on what I can do to rectify the pink but keeping it semi?

If its pink is sounds like the brown may have been too light and had some red in it? If go with maybe a darker more ashy brown. Being that you filled it first it should take the ash without going green. Ash would cancel out the pink.

Ash is a good choice. However, you need a green based ash as green neutralises red.
Double check if your preferred semi colour is blue or green based ash.
