I’m currently setting up my home salon ready to jump into work once I’m fully qualified and ready.

I’m just wondering if anyone has any tips on building a gel polish collection.
What are the main colours I should 100% have before opening?
Should I stick with 1 brand?
I obviously can’t afford to go mental on polishes so I need to choose wisely!

Any tips would be greatly appreciated xx

A black, dark red, classic red, 2 pink colours, a nude (or two) then a cover pink and white for French should be a good start. And you can build on that x

Hey :)

I have just bought in Gelish to start going mobile soon, and I got 16 colours (you do not necessarily need this many at first but I couldn't help myself!) I got:
A white (for french), a grey/brown colour, 4 different shades of red, a neutral/nude colour, a orange/coral colour, a sparkly gold, a light green, a deep green, a purple, and 5 pinks (all different shades). I do regret not getting a blue now in hindsight. However, I am only starting by doing family/friends and will keep investing my profits and buying new shades before doing other clients.

Personally I would stick to one brand when starting out x

Thanks for the tips [emoji4] xx
