Hi, I've always suffered with dry flaky scalp and at it's worst it shows badly on my clothes & itches like mad. I thought it was dandruff and used head and shoulders to clear it up when it was bad. However I'm having hair extensions so can't use the head and shoulders. Can anyone advise what I can use which is ok with hair extensions, the extensions are pre bonded ones. Many Thanks

Hello! You can use head and shoulders (the original one) as its quite mild and stops dandruff and isn't too oily so cant damage the bonds (i use it) xx

Do not use head and shoulders full stop!! Dandruff, Hair extensions or not, it's utter ****, any professional will tell you that!! I have a client that wouldn't listen to my advice, her scalp was awful, but she insisted on still using H & S as she had dandruff DOH!!!! All that shampoo does us repeatedly strip the skin from your scalp, therefore it will never cure the problem, just cause it. She had a Brazilian Blo Dry with me, I gave her Nexus shampoo and conditioner to go with it, within days scalp had cleared up, for the first time ever, even the dry skin in her eyebrows! Nexus is great for hair extensions as I used it with mine. As long ad you use top quality shampoo and conditioner, maybe rub some moroccan oil into your scalp, only on top and hairline away from bonds, also on your extensions, can't see you'll have a problem.

Not sure about the extensions bit but I've suffered with this big time, more so when I'm stressed/run down! I used a shampoo called polytar from the chemist which was ok but what completely got rid of it was an ointment called cocois which was prescribed, they also gave me a steroid to apply at first but it was rubbish made it worse. I use cocois once in a blue moon now and use moisturising shampoos and conditioners from whole salers and im flake/itch free (touch wood!) x

Colour Assure and Insure, but a moisturising or conditioning one would be good. I'm not familiar with the whole range, sorry x
