Ive worked my way throught so many shop and salon brands and can't find a shampoo that's good for my hair.

My hair gets very greasy but also my scalp can get very dry!
some shampoo's stop me from being able to style the way i want and im at my wits end with what shampoo to try next!!

I don't mind paying out if it's going to do what i need but like the last brand i got i paid £32 and it was ok to start with but now 3 wks in its not so good .

Try matrix biolage peppermint shampoo and conditioner, it's good for overly oily hair and the conditioner can go on your scalp so deals with that issue too. Lovely product :)
Find your nearest matrix salon and they'll help you out,

Just for future reference, this type of post should be in consumer queries, I'm sure someone will relocate it soon.

U have the exact same problem! Greasy roots with occasional flakes with bone dry mids and ends! Lol I have turned to head an shoulders shampoo and alternate between the dry and damaged range using a conditioning treatment on the mids and ends and this helps! Some times you just have to mix and match products to suit your hair and it's a nightmare finding the best ones lol..

Also I find using the same shampooing products just adapt to your hair after a while and you don't notice the great effects you saw when you first started using them!

xx

Please try matrix cooling shampoo rather than H&S

First thing I would advise is to go see your doctor, you might have a condition called Seborrhoea, wiki it. Second thing, you need to find a shampoo with lemon in, that’s what removes the oils. Also avoid hot water when shampooing as this also creates more oil, and don’t condition the roots, only the mid-lengths and ends. I would suggest the Nioxin Scalp Therapy shampoo. It helps hair grow, but the shampoo and conditioner removes build-up of sebum (the ''grease'') and creates a ideal environment for hair to grow, I have used it myself and I love it! It has a cooling sensation, it really is good. You can buy it on Amazon.
