Hi guys, I normally do my art with gel
Polish but have been using sharpies
ImageUploadedBySalonGeek1476892448.509250.jpg
today . slightly worried as after top coat I wiped with Gelish cleanser as usual and a bit of the design came away. How do you prevent this?

They look fab! I would have never thought of doing things like this! Maybe double top coat? Xx

I was told you spray it with hairspray first.

I did do two top coats but still wiped a bit away

The problem with using sharpies is that it's not meant for use on the nails so isn't a beauty product.. you need to check you're covered by your insurance if you were to do nail art with them on a client. The art looks great though!! X

Use a tack free top coat Hun. Xx

Wait for it to dry before you top coat.
Instead of Sharpie, you could also use a calligraphy pen and ink, since the ink is thinner and suitable for drawings

I painted mine with shellac, using fine brushes and dotting tools
