I've got a client booked in, she has told me she has used this John Freda lightening spray. I've already said to her that i will have to have a look poss do a test on her hair before i can colour it (she has really short hair and usually has bleach hi-lights but she leave it a while so no bleach left in really just remains of this spray). I've looked it up and it contains hydrogen peroxide see below link

Sheer Blonde® Go Blonder Controlled Lightening Spray from the John Frieda® Hair Care experts

All i can think is this is just 'sun in' why do these products even get made in the first place?!!!!! :grr:

Any opinions/advice would be appreciated, Thanks

Hi It is EXACTLY that...new version of the dreaded SUN IN! It does contain peroxide or hair would not lighten. Just be careful of peroxide strength and length of development time, strand test is a must Hope that helps!

My client used this so I did a test and it dissolved!! Faster than sun in!! id be very careful xx
