Hey
I haven't done one with shellac before but if I were to do one I would use white shellac with an additive so I'd do white all over cure then use a pale pink additive and feather from cuticle down
Picture is taken at a weird angle but the results were great! I built and filed the nail using clear tips and gel, and then applied 2 coats of CND Shellac in "Negligee" to kind of "cloud" the clear tip so that the colours were more natural! If you prefer to use cover pinks rather than clear, I dont see why applying a thin coat of white gel polish to the free edge, and feathered slightly down past, then using a brush that resembles that of a nail polish bottle to blend and feather any harsh lines, and also pick up any excess product so that during curing of the product, it doesnt wrinkle or bubble! If you still werent happy with the finished look, maybe apply one last coat of a sheer pink colour coating on the entire nail to allow everything to look nice and muted Im enrolled in cosmetology school, so I havent really tried the other option I put here so if anybody sees anything that isnt correct here, feel free to message me Thanks everybody <3
