Shellac lifting at free edge

Hello all, could do with some advice please.
Recently completed my Shellac training after a 10 year + break from the industry.
I completed two sets of Shellac on friends and I have to say i think I ballsed it up. Was so incredibly nervous..and ended up faffing.
Basically both girls Shellac has lifted at the edges... having a wobble. Completely ridiculous as did Gel extensions for so many years but the confidence has gone..left the building!
Thinking that because I was so nervous I over thought the whole process.
Any advice or tips hugely appreciated

Could it have been the application was perhaps too tick Or possibly not capping the free edge?

If you could provide your steps and a picture or two if you have perhaps we could see where you may have gone wrong xx

Did you give them the appropriate aftercare advice about cleaning products etc which might erode the seal and cause them to lift at the free edge (and is it all - or only certain fingers?)
