Hey guys.

I wanted some advise. I have a CND LED Brisa lamp and all has been perfect but my last couple of clients, regulars too have had 1 or 2 nails come off but all in one go? Now obviously I've put them back on free of charge but I'm baffled as to what is causing it. I'm doing the CND process and scrubbing thoroughly with SCUBAFRESH. all clients are placing hands correctly in the lamp? I'm thinking do I need a whole new lamp but then I thought the LED went on forever and the light still seems bright? Or is it the lead? So frustrating because I can't put my finger on it

Help!!!! Thankyou

Are you using Duraforce Top Coat? I've noticed all of my clients that have Duraforce who chip a nail are losing the entire nail in one piece. All the layers are perfectly bonded to each other and you can't rip or tear the Shellac 'piece' that comes off but it just comes off whole.

I've gone back to normal top coat and they're all fine again. Yes they may get the odd chip which I can't stop afterall, they are in charge of their nails when they leave me, but I can't have it coming off all in one piece if they chip one.

Oddly enough Duraforce has been amazing for me! No issues, clients are spreading their appointments to 3 weeks *eyeroll* I now use Express topcoat on their toenails and Duraforce for the fingernails. Couldn't be happier with results. Whenever I see a whole nail come off it's only on my two daughters and they PICK it off!!!
