Shellac on damaged nail

I cut my finger last week with a knife and the blade went through my nail. I have shellac on but it is due to be removed and reapplied in the next few days. The cut is no longer open but wondered what people's opinions were on what to do regarding removing it? Should I just go for it or leave it alone until the cut section has grown out?

Did the nail plate/ bed bleed atall? @
Or is it just superficial?

It did go below the nail plate and yes it did bleed [emoji53]

I would have it done butadk for that nail to be buffed rather than soaked

Ah ok thanks I'll do that! This is only about my 6th set since starting shellac as I've mostly been doing my own so far!
