Shellac or IBD Just Gel?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this site and wanted to say hi toeveryone and also ask for some advice!

I qualified as a Creative Nail Technician (acrylic) back in 2004. I have not actively been working as a nail technician for approximately 2 years but am now getting back into it as i have a 12 month old boy. I am starting work in a hairdressers soon as the only nail tachnician and i am curently ordering all stock etc.

I can't decide which gel varnish to stock and use. I have worked with Shellac and love the product but feel that the colours are a bit limiting. However a friend of mine uses IBD Just Gel poloish and absoloutely loves t and says the colours are fab.

Please help, i can't decide what to do and i need to get a wriggle on and order the stock!

Any advice welcome.

Personally I'd go with Shellac. It's very well known, not at all limiting with colours as there are 44 now & unless you have a ton of money to spend I wouldn't be starting up with a whole collection anyway. Shellac is a high end product and sells itself.

That's just me though! Spend some time on the nail forum and look at all the reviews & previous questions Xx
