Shellac over NSI Balance gel

hi everyone, I have done the NSI training and I'm currently mastering the sculpted nails with forms. I m doing shellac polishes over the top but I'm finding that in certain lights the coverage isn't great or even. It's not awful but it's not perfect. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? When I do a normal shellac manicure the coverage is perfect, it's just not as great over enhancements. Could it be that my enhancement isn't evenly buffed?? Or is shellac not a great polish over enhancements? Any help appreciated. I should add that I apply finish clear first, then proceed with shellac base coat etc xxx

Shellac should provide full coverage for you

Are you sculpting with a clear gel for the extension edge?
