Shellac polish for stamping?

Hi geeks!
I know this has probably been asked 185095090 times before but can you use CND shellac polish for stamping with? Or would you recommend using a different polish? I'm really curious to give stamping a go but haven't a clue where to start with what polish.

You can but I'd recommend normal polishes, if you look on YouTube there's a few with shellac, you can also use additives too most stamping companies sell there own stamping polishes but as long as they are highly pigmented they will work xx

Oh really? I've been looking at moyou london for plates so would you recommend just getting a couple of their polishes to try as well? Xx

Start with MoYou as it's specifically designed for stamping, get some practise, its not always as easy as it looks, then you can start experimenting with other polish brands. I dont stamp with Shellac, or any gel polish, its not pigmented enough, if you think about it every Gel Polish needs two coats to get a good depth of colour, you can't do two coats when stamping.

I use MOYOU or creative play for stamping. I have used shellac and it's good to use if you want to add glitter of additives to the stamped design x

Yeah defo recommend the moyou stamping polishes, I have trouble stamping with shellac as some colours aren't pigmented enough. You can however use additives to stamp, there are videos on YouTube of that too but I would stick to stamping polishes to start with until you have time (and patience) to play around with shellac xx

I like Konad stamping polish - great for fine detail designs and drys super quick

I've been using CND Vinylux successfully for stamping for quite a while now, but I'm also keen to see the difference between that and Creative Play.

I have both moyou and mundo de unas colours and imo mundo de unas are far better! They come in small bottles too so it's not expensive to try out a few and see if you like them

Does the design not then smudge when you put the gel top coat on? Currently use shellac and have been curious about creative play but just don't get that it's a normal nail varnish so surely it would smudge when shellac top is applied straight after?x
