Show tans! Best brand and %

Hi everyone, I have a lady asking for a deep show tan, I currently have L A 14% and the disco one, I’m hoping this will be deep enough... are there any other brands you use for your clients who want a deep stage tan? Thanks ladies also do you mix solutions for a deeper shade? Or do you simply re spray the next day?

Show tans aren't a high % its the bronzers thats in them that make them look so dark. Competitors normaly have a few tans over a few days. So you would spray them, they would wash off day after. You would spray them again and so on. Have a look at black magic they have a great range of show tans xx

If you use a high % it will just dry out the clients skin and could turn them orange. High % doesn't always = a darker tan. It depends a lot on the clients original skin tone. If they are really pale and dont tan well and you stick a 20% on they won't have a good end result. Competition tans are sometimes only 8% but the bronzers make all the difference they also normally keep the guide colour on for the show, that why they look so dark in photos xx

That’s true, and makes sense. I’ve sprayed someone the same colour as I have before and the outcome was different, some of us have yellow skin tones and others pink skin tones so that also plays a massive part as much as the way the naturally tan too
