I have a party booked for 7 x 12 year olds - I usually do the whole pamper thing but as the kids are going out for a meal afterwards, the mum just wants nail paint and nail art to all fingers
Im panicking slightly its going to take forever - just wanted some ideas, I need something quick and easy but bit more effective than polka dots and flicks really
just wondered if I could do zebra stripes and leopard spots but in more funky colours like hot pink/black - do you think this would take too long, are the cheetah spots easy to achieve? and can anyone tell me best thing to use I have some acrylic nail paint but sometimes noticed quite gloopy - do the nail pens work better? I have a nubar striper brush which is brilliant for zebra stripes
thanks in advance, panicking already!

How about some konad stamps? Really affective and take seconds to do

I have to second stephiebaby.

I think konaded flowers, butterflies, and stars would go down a treat. You could probably get away with doing just a few accent nails like the thumb and ring finger... It really would just take seconds

for leopard/cheetah spots i use nail pens. i use the top to make a sort of rough spot then use the brush end (in a different colour obv) to do tiny dashes around the spot. ive never used anything else to do them though. sorry im prob not much help. x

I did an event at the weekend and all the little girls wanted gems on their nails, I just set them into the colour coat then top coat to seal over the top. Really quick and easy and not as fiddly as painting designs onto titchy nails :)

Agreed on the nail gems, v quick. You can also pick up transfers from capital or similar which are quick and easy to apply too.
If you look on my profile pic the design on the little finger is hearts done with a nail pen, so quick to do! Just polish and then draw a V with a red/ pink nail pen and done! X

How about a simple 4-5 dot flower made with a dotting tool and then some colorful dots along the nail. So simple and little girls love it.

thanks some lovely ideas, i have some gems but always worry they will drop off and will spend ages replacing them!
will get some nail art pens and have a little practise
million dollars love your nail art, can i ask which type of pens you use for the hearts? do you do many kids parties
thank you

Tried to take a pic of the paint, think I got it from capital? Or maybe eBay? Sorry can't remember. They aren't expensive and they have a striper and a dotting pen in one end.

Zebra stripes will be quick and easy, use the striper of the nail art pen and flick across. Leopard spots are easy to do too. I usually place blobs of a colour, say hot pink, on the nail in random patterns with the pen end of nail art pen. Then take another colour, say black, and draw around the pink spots lightly. Don't go all the way around and vary the directions you draw them in. Hard to explain but so easy to do.
