Skin conditions

Hi All

Can anyone tell me if there is a severe skin condition that would prevent treatment such a manicure or pedicure?

Things like severe & weeping excema, psoriasis, broken skin...it would depend on what condition and what context? Do you have a client with one? You could just avoid the areas affected or if it's very severe they most likely wouldn't book one. Xx

Thanks Vicky - yes I have a client who has psoriasis on the soles of her feet, her appointment with me is tomorrow so I wanted to know if I was still on to perform a usual pedicure xx

It shouldn't be a problem, I just wouldn't use the foot file if it's on her heels, just make sure you use plenty moisturiser xxx
